Today is a sad day for all Indians. Our Dada….the Prince of Kolkata….the Best Captain that India ever had, quits! The legend broke a million hearts today….mine too L.
Unwilling to be disgraced and trampled down by the dirty politics of the selectors, he put on a brave face and chose to leave with dignity. Let us hope his legacy continues to inspire thousands of youngsters who live and love cricket.
Looking forward to his swan song against the Aussies and wishing him all the best……..

Yah! will surely miss dada 😦 But personally I am happy that he will quitting on a high….his performance has been brilliant after his comeback. 🙂

Yeah….I do agree with u. Its better to quit now before the selectors start to treat him like shit once again……Lets just hope his performance against the Aussies shuts up all the sniggers and whispers.

Yes. I do understand how u must be feeling. We have a similar experience with another one of his kind legend……Jumbo…,ie,.Anil Kumble. How people can easily and conveniently forget their contiributions is still a mystery to me!
Dada is all of 36……and to be retiring at this age!!!!???
Its a good thing to give more opportunity to “youngsters”, but there is certainly a more dignified way to treat these stalwarts!
But thanks to IPL, perhaps we shall see more of them in the future. However, seeing them play for India is all together a different thing……..
